Time to VOTE!

vote-for-books

On Wednesday, November 2, Science and Social Studies classes will come to the library to participate in the National Student Mock Election 2016. Students will go online and “vote” for their favorite candidate for President. Did you know that nationwide, students have correctly picked the winner of the last 13 Presidential elections in a row?

While you’re here voting for President, you will also have the chance to vote for the top most popular book (or book series) here at MMS. Students were given “primary election” ballots in their ELA classes to nominate up to four titles. The nominations are being tabulated now, and the top four will appear on the official Vote for Books ballot. After voting for President, you can vote for one of the four “candidates” using an online form. Regardless of who you choose to elect for President, a vote for books is always a good choice!
